So the entire season plot about the hatch and the numbers and the button was nothing. the button was real but woo-hoo, 2.23 throws in a key to a fail-safe. The bastard writers actually got away with resolving the entire story with an f-ing fail-safe key? come on.
There is no story but the one about the writers thinking ahead of their audience.
The writers are acting the Sawyer part. There is no big reveal, no all encompassing story arc. There is a long con on. Keep the audience watching.
Lost is not a show about a mystery. There is no riddle to solve, no puzzle to put together. There is not secret hidden in the dark corners of Jacks constant 4 o’clock shadow.
There is no mystery. Because a real mystery has an answer. Lost does not have an answer. It has only a question. And if you know the question, you can figure out the pieces.
